Towards Next Generation Procurement

Welcome!

Welcome to my website! Here you can find information about myself and my company FRConsulting BV. I work as a researcher, trainer, consultant and speaker in the areas of strategy, organization development, leadership, collaboration and creativity, often in the context of Procurement and Supply Chain Management.

At the moment, there are some serious challenges facing Procurement and Supply Chain Management! Owing to growing volatility and complexity in the business environment and the strategic repositioning of the procurement function, more and more procurement leaders are invited by their business stakeholders to come up with innovative solutions for critical business challenges, to implement disruptive sourcing strategies, to drive innovation across the supply chain or to set up new business models.

In my view, increasing the involvement of  Procurement in Innovation first requires Innovation in Procurement. We need to redefine the role and position of the procurement function. Next we should develop a Next Generation of Procurement professionals that score high on creativity, courage and connectivity. Last but not least, the Next Generation Procurement professional is socially responsible and secures our planet for the next generations after the next generation.

If you want to know more, I'm on the pulse of both the latest academic research and best practices of leading companies, and continuously adapt my own approaches to these new insights—all to give you exceptional advice, training or coaching that will prepare you today for tomorrow's challenges. Let's connect!
